These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CaterLinked.com and any related content, accounts, educational materials, courses, events, communications, or services offered through CaterLinked.

CaterLinked is operated by FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. References in these Terms to “CaterLinked,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. operating as CaterLinked.

By accessing or using CaterLinked, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or related services.

1. About CaterLinked

CaterLinked is a knowledge resource for catering and off-premises professionals.

We provide articles, industry insights, shows, educational content, expert perspectives, and other resources relating to topics including catering sales, operations, marketing, technology, leadership, and off-premises strategy.

From time to time, CaterLinked may also offer courses, webinars, downloadable resources, events, account-based features, or other educational services.

2. Eligibility and Use of CaterLinked

You may use CaterLinked only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• use CaterLinked in violation of applicable laws or regulations;
• interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• introduce malicious code, automated attacks, or other harmful technology;
• scrape, harvest, systematically download, or reproduce CaterLinked content without permission;
• impersonate another person or organization;
• use CaterLinked to distribute unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or infringing material;
• use CaterLinked content in a manner that infringes intellectual property or other rights.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

3. User Accounts

CaterLinked may provide accounts to contributors, learners, subscribers, or other users.

When creating or using an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You must notify CaterLinked if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for security, administration, violation of these Terms, or discontinuation of a service.

4. CaterLinked Content

Unless otherwise stated, content made available through CaterLinked, including articles, videos, shows, graphics, designs, branding, downloadable materials, educational resources, course materials, and website content, is owned by or licensed to FeatureWorks Consulting Inc.

CaterLinked content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may access CaterLinked content for your personal or internal professional use.

Unless we give you permission, you may not:

• reproduce or republish substantial portions of CaterLinked content;
• sell, license, sublicense, or commercially redistribute CaterLinked content;
• modify content and present it as CaterLinked material;
• remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices;
• create competing databases, publications, courses, or content libraries from CaterLinked materials.

You may share links to publicly available CaterLinked content and quote reasonable portions with appropriate attribution where permitted by law.

5. Contributor Content

CaterLinked may publish articles, videos, interviews, commentary, educational materials, or other content created or supplied by contributors.

Contributors retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By submitting content to CaterLinked for publication, a contributor grants FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, reproduce, format, edit, publish, republish, display, promote, distribute, archive, and make that content available through CaterLinked, other websites and digital properties owned or operated by FeatureWorks Consulting Inc., and related promotional channels.

This licence continues after the contributor’s relationship with CaterLinked ends, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The contributor remains free to use, publish, republish, distribute, or license their content elsewhere, unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.

Contributors represent that they own or otherwise have the necessary rights and permissions to provide the content they submit and that, to the best of their knowledge, its publication and use in accordance with these Terms will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any third party.

CaterLinked and FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. may edit contributor material for formatting, clarity, length, style, accessibility, presentation, or consistency while seeking to preserve the contributor’s intended meaning.

Where reasonably appropriate, published contributor content will identify or credit the contributor. FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. may continue to display that attribution when content is republished, archived, or distributed through its other websites, digital properties, or promotional channels.

6. Educational and Informational Content

CaterLinked content is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Content reflects the experience, knowledge, or opinions of its authors, presenters, contributors, or guests and may not be appropriate for every business or circumstance.

CaterLinked does not guarantee that any particular strategy, recommendation, process, technology, or approach will produce specific business, financial, operational, or sales results.

You are responsible for evaluating information and making decisions appropriate to your own business and circumstances.

Content on CaterLinked should not be treated as legal, accounting, tax, financial, employment, or other regulated professional advice.

Where appropriate, you should obtain advice from a qualified professional.

7. Courses and Educational Programs

CaterLinked may offer courses, workshops, webinars, training programs, learning materials, or other educational products.

Where additional terms, registration conditions, pricing, access periods, prerequisites, or refund policies are presented at the time of registration or purchase, those terms form part of your agreement with CaterLinked.

Course and educational content is provided for the use of the registered participant unless otherwise stated.

You may not share account credentials, distribute course materials, record restricted sessions, or reproduce educational content without permission.

We may update course content, instructors, schedules, materials, or delivery methods where reasonably necessary.

8. Purchases and Payments

Where CaterLinked offers paid products or services, pricing and applicable payment terms will be disclosed before purchase.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

Applicable taxes may be added where required.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, all amounts are stated in the currency identified during checkout.

Refunds, cancellations, access periods, and other purchase-specific conditions will be governed by the terms presented with the applicable product or service and by any rights available under applicable law.

9. Email and Communications

If you subscribe to the CaterLinked Brief or other communications, you may receive email relating to the content or services you requested.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those messages.

Account, security, transactional, registration, or service-related communications may still be sent where necessary.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

CaterLinked may contain links to, embed content from, or integrate with third-party websites and services.

These may include video platforms, social networks, technology providers, webinar services, software providers, advertisers, sponsors, or other external resources.

CaterLinked does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, privacy practices, products, or services.

Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

A link, reference, interview, appearance, or mention does not necessarily constitute an endorsement unless we explicitly state otherwise.

11. Sponsorships, Partnerships and Commercial Relationships

CaterLinked may work with sponsors, advertisers, technology providers, industry partners, contributors, or other commercial organizations.

Where content is sponsored or a material commercial relationship is relevant, CaterLinked may identify that relationship where appropriate.

The existence of a commercial relationship does not guarantee or imply endorsement of every product, service, claim, or opinion associated with that organization.

12. Availability and Changes to CaterLinked

We may modify, update, suspend, replace, or discontinue any part of CaterLinked from time to time.

This may include website features, content, accounts, courses, events, services, or third-party integrations.

We do not guarantee that any particular feature or piece of content will remain available indefinitely.

Where a paid service is materially affected, any applicable purchase terms and legal obligations will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CaterLinked and its content and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. does not guarantee that CaterLinked will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or suitability of all information made available through CaterLinked.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, contributors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use CaterLinked.

This includes, without limitation, loss of revenue, profits, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FeatureWorks Consulting Inc. from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:

• your unlawful use of CaterLinked;
• content you submit or publish through CaterLinked;
• your infringement of another person’s intellectual property or other rights;
• your material violation of these Terms.

16. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the CaterLinked Privacy Policy.

By using CaterLinked, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed in accordance with that policy.

17. Termination

You may stop using CaterLinked at any time.

Where account functionality is available, you may contact us regarding closure of your account.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary due to:

• violation of these Terms;
• unlawful or abusive activity;
• security concerns;
• non-payment of applicable fees;
• misuse of CaterLinked content or systems;
• discontinuation of a service.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to CaterLinked, our services, applicable requirements, or business practices.

The Last Updated date at the top of this page will indicate when the Terms were most recently revised.

If changes are material and you have an account or ongoing paid service, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of CaterLinked after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be restricted, disputes relating to these Terms or CaterLinked will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the CaterLinked Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a particular paid product, course, event, or service, constitute the agreement governing your use of CaterLinked.
